Pippin the kitten just doesn't like licking. He won't clean his fur and things are starting to stick: some gum, a flower, even a bug are getting stuck on Pippin's rug. When he goes to school, the other kids notice that Pippin isn't taking care of himself, he even has a stench. Can they help Pippin realize his little problem before they have to leave him on the bench?
Pippin No Lickin' tells the story of a cat who refuses to groom. Through a rhyming scheme that pulls children in, Pippin's issue is introduced along with all of the hilarious problems that come with it. As a parent, I enjoyed that the story focused not only on Pippin's problem, but how it affected those around him and how his friends could help him. With bold, bright and funny pictures that catch and keeps children's attention, Pippin No Lickin' makes an excellent social story for children aged 2-6.
