This book is awesome for any dinosaur lover out there! Unfortunately, I only had the electronic ARC and couldn't actually do the paper pop-out portion. Although, there is a lot of great and scientifically accurate information packed in here.
Kids will learn about what makes a dinosaur, the time periods they lived in, fossils and what exactly paleontologists do. At the end there is a field guide to 12 different dinosaurs which gives you the information necessary in order to put together the fossils from the paper 'dig site.' Like a real dig site, the fossils to each time period are not all together or in the correct configuration. It looks like a fun puzzle to figure out, I can't wait to get a real copy!
