Review

Bubbles the Frog has many friends in Frog Pond. His friends can’t stand one thing that Bubbles cannot stop doing-farting. Bubbles is creating a big stink that his friends don’t like at all. No matter what he does, Bubbles can’t stop farting. So, Bubbles leaves his friends, but as soon as he does, his friends find that they need help from Bubbles and his farts.
A super cute book that is sure to leave kids entertained! I read this to a group of 4-5 year olds and the giggles would not stop. I’m pretty sure frogs and farting is a winning combination for this age group. I liked that the vocabulary was age appropriate where early readers could sound out many of the words themselves, especially ‘Bloop!’ I also enjoyed that the different bugs that Bubbles tried eating were all bugs that frogs would actually eat. The illustrations were simple, colorful and straightforward. Overall, a fun, humorous and educational story.
