Reviews:
Vori is a world renowned supermodel and a goblin princess. She has been stuck in the human realm ever since the Wicked Crown took its toll on her father and he went on a murderous rampage killing every other goblin royal. Vori's mother, a fae, sacrificed herself by pushing Vori into the human realm before her father reached her. Now, Vori is in a time crunch to fulfill a blow vow to Baba Yaga if she ever wants to return to the goblin realm. Vori needs all of the amethysts once part of the crown along with a consort. She is working on the amethysts, but her planned consort, Perry, a male witch is currently in jail. Once she busts Perry out and returns to her realm, Vori finds a world in trouble and is faced with a decision of taking the crown that she never wanted in order to save her home.
Wicked Crown is a fun, adventurous and unexpected paranormal romance. I was wondering how goblins were supposed to be sexy, and these goblins definitely were! The writing dives right into the action as Vori tracks down an amethyst and attempts to retrieve it. Vori's second challenge was breaking Perry out of jail. I did feel momentarily lost with Perry's past involvement with the Witch Senate and why he had been captured, tortured and given powers. I was captivated by the goblin realm and the origin of the crown. I loved the descriptions of the realm, the castle, the other goblins and their royalty. The suspense only heightened as Vori and Perry entered the Goblin world and were faced with problem after problem that they relied on one another to solve. The gradual build of the romance between Perry and Vori was also exciting; from Perry being repulsed by Vori's goblin form, to accepting, to seeing that as her true self. I was glad to see that through Vori's time within the Goblin realm, she realizes and embraces her fate on her own terms.
Prys Bane is a witch Princess; with her Royal Bloodline she has privilege, money and powers to emotionally manipulate and predict outcomes. Prys focuses on using her power for good, working as a witch magistrate and matchmaker. Prys has been contracted to find a Legacy match for the male Donovan heir, but when she arrives in Los Angeles, Prys finds a murdered witch Senator. Now, with a murdered Senator, Prys finds out that the Legacy heir she must find a match for is the hunky Guard she kissed the night before, John Donovan. As Prys investigates further, she receives threats of her own, driving her further into John's arms.
Wicked Match is the second book in the Wicked series. While it can be read as a stand alone, the previous book offers some insight into how the supernatural world interacts with humans. Wicked Match offers a slow burn paranormal romance that turns hot and spicy. The romance combined with a murder mystery and magic created a fast-paced exciting read. Prys and John are wonderful characters. Prys was painted as an Ice Queen by the supernatural media, but is deeply connected to emotions and never wants to hurt anyone. She is a perfect match for John with his rough exterior and dominant needs. The murder mystery is compelling along with the constant threats on Prys' life keeping the suspense and danger high. I had the villain figured out pretty early on, but the motivations behind their treachery were interesting to see unravel.

Alexi is a Demon Prince in control of the Los Angeles territory. He is recruited on a mission to rescue a woman held by the Order, a dangerous group of humans set on destroying anything supernatural. As Alexi completes his mission and rescues Joelle, he recognizes the girl he rescued once in his childhood, a girl he believed to be his match. Now, Alexi feels like he must protect Joelle, the supernatural that is not a demon or a witch, but something amazing and good, the opposite of himself. Joelle is determined to find out what she is and find love, but Alexi won't claim her as his mate, even though they can both feel it. Meanwhile, the Order is determined to get their prisoner back while finding new ways to torture supernaturals.
Wicked Grace is the third book in The Wicked series and picks up on the tail end of book two. From Alexi and Joelle's point of view, the demon side of the supernaturals are revealed along with a whole new supernatural entity. As always, the characters are very well developed and immensely interesting. I was entranced by the mystery of what Joelle is, her origins and her powers. I was amazed that Joelle was still kind, forgiving and caring after the years of torture she endured by the Order. Through Alexi, it was interesting to see how the demons kept order and controlled chaos as well as their immense powers that they could hold. I was also excited to check in with Vori from book one and see how she was doing in the Goblin Realm. Alexi and Joelle's relationship kept me in suspense as they went back and forth with their feelings. When they finally sparked, the romance went quickly from sweet to heat. The story was sustained at a fast pace as the Order seemed to be ahead of their plans, the origins of Joelle unraveled and Alexi and Joelle accepted their fate.
