This is an erotic novella, I usually do not read erotica or books heavy on romance, but this story was perfect for me. Driven by strong characterization and a good mystery, I was immediately drawn in. Even though this is a novella, I felt like I got to know and could relate to Evelyn's hard-working but shy character as well as Caroline's character through some of the sensuous letters. The mystery of the box and Evelyn's quest was engaging, timeless and with the right amount of romance and eroticism for me.
